Databases of published material concerning the geology of Finland

Bibliographies contain information about geology-related publications, articles and maps which concern Finland and have been drawn up by Finns. Loan them from the GTK library or ask your local library to arrange an inter-library loan.

Library collections

GTK libraries have Finland's most extensive collections of literature and maps concerning geology, mineralogy, geochemistry, paleontology and applied geophysics. In addition, the collections include literature related to chemical analytics, remote sensing and environmental research. Most of the collections are located at our library in Espoo. Please note that the articles of international electronic papers are only available for reading on GTK premises.
