The material has been compiled on a map sheet-specific basis, and one compressed file includes the map's geological levels and the description of the material. The material is available as described in the terms of use. Search by municipality, map sheet number or name.

The available map levels in the service include surficial deposit patterns at 20,000, 200,000 and 1,000,000.

1:200,000 bedrock map is based on the seamless bedrock map database (DigiKP). The original map database is composed of diverse scaled bedrock maps but it is generalised into the map scale of approximately 1:200,000 which is the main product of the GTK’s bedrock map database. Among lithological coding it contains hierarchical lithostraticraphical or lithodemic classifications linked into the Finstrati system.
