We perform 3D modelling and mineral resources evaluations of ore, industrial minerals and other geological resources based on the customer's data. The most common basic data is information obtained by drilling, such as metal or mineral content. In many cases, the work involves compilation of old maps or the entire data of the mine area into digital format. Modelling includes models which are agreed with the customer and are essential for the usability of the deposit and the investigation phase in question. 3D models are used for outlining the location and shape of the ore deposit, and also the location and shape of surrounding rock types, and faults. Mineral deposits are evaluated as verified, likely and potential according to international standards, such as JORC or NI43-101.
GTK has experience in participation in exploration and mine design projects, for example. GTK's geodata sets are available.
We offer the following services:

We created a 3D model of the Ullava Länttä lithium pegmatite deposit and estimated its potential in several stages at the request of Nordic Mining/Keliber.
The picture shows the deposit's lithium block model and optimised open-cast mines at depths of 50 and 200 metres.
