GTK's publication production and publication prices

GTK's publications series mainly include research results attained by GTK's internal researchers, and by a cooperative effort of GTK and external organisations. Publications by GTK are mainly released as online versions, and only Bulletins and Special Papers are also released in printed format. Need-specific printing has been introduced for research reports and guides. For information about all publications of GTK, visit the   GTKJUL database.

Geological maps provide diverse information for rock and nature enthusiasts who are interested in geology. Bedrock maps (scale 1:100,000 and 1:400,000) and related legend maps contain information about an area's rock types and their emergence. Soil maps (scale 1:100,000 and 1:400,000) and their legend booklets provide information about the regional variation of loose soil types covering the Finnish bedrock. Bedrock maps at 1:20,000 are available either as ready printed, or as print-outs from numeric data. Geological hiking maps inform users of hiking routes, rest stops, huts, etc., and also deal with an area's soil types, the emergence of the landscapes and natural formations, as well as the geological sights. The GTK MAPS database contains information on GTK maps and map legend booklets.
