Prices of GTK's data and publication products

The Geological Survey of Finland has revised its pricing for information products as of the beginning of 2010. The products are grouped into digital data and printed publications and maps.

GTK grants fixed-term, non-exclusive rights to use digital data products. Upon granting the rights, a licence agreement is prepared, determining the data covered by the licence, and the duration of the licence. The applicable terms of use, licence fees, and other costs are given in the price list for digital data. The data products include data from exploration activities of Outokumpu mining company which have been transferred to GTK. In the future new data products will be available, covering also geological data from other organizations.

GTK sells its publications, maps and other ready-made products at its sales outlets and through its resellers. For publications and map products, GTK awards a 40% discount for resellers (book shops, museums, nanture centres, etc.).
